Born in Santa Catarina, Giovanna Nucci has lived and worked in Sao Paulo since 1994. With a bachelor's degree in photography, she decided on the arts when she specialized in Art and Culture. With the attentive eye of someone looking for something beyond the conventional, she innovated by bringing her graphic influence from her passion for architecture, especially the Bauhaus school, to artistic photography. Most of her landscape work is based on form and focuses either on the urban or on nature.
She has published two books: “São Paulo, cada um conta sua história” in 2011 and “Rio Estado de esporte” in 2012. She has exhibited nationally and internationally, actively participating in an important moment for art in Brazil, especially photography, in solo and group exhibitions.
