She considers drawing as a primordial apprenticeship and uses it as the essential and exploratory basis for all her pieces. Mistakes and amendments are an integral part of her creative process, as she does not seek perfection, but rather the visual and symbolic expressiveness of the figures and objects she represents. Having lived between Portugal and Macau, the influences of both cities overflow into her most recent work. She considers drawing as a primordial apprenticeship, without which nothing of value can be created, and therefore uses it as an essential and exploratory basis for all her pieces. Each experience is a learning experience, each result gives rise to yet another question.
